Munich
I spent a few days in Munich, a couple of weeks ago. I was at the Audio Engineering Society 126th Convention...though I did manage to sneak away for a few hours to see Munich itself, and photos will be forthcoming later on that point.
I participated on a workshop panel, discussing loudspeaker computer-aided advanced modelling techniques, examining how well the software works these days, and what's needed to make the modelling results more accurate. There were a lot of good questions and points raised by the audience, so I feel the workshop was a success.
I'm happy I was able to do this. In these economic times, it's hard for anyone to get approval to go anywhere, from any company. I have the sense that the convention was sparsely attended, compared to attendance in normal times.
